Products
Weffo Performance specializes in ultra-high-performance aftermarket parts for the small powersports engine market. Think everything from 49cc scooters to 600cc UTVs, and anything else that you can bolt a small engine onto. Our current product development is focused on the following areas, which we feel all complement each other - and are beyond anything available in the market today.
Forced Induction
We feel that the small engines out there have been left to suck wind for far too long. Only a handful of Bonneville runners have successfully boosted small engines, but we don't think those guys should have all the fun. Our first product is the SC50.1, a supercharger designed for the 49cc scooter market. As it was designed to be scalable, be watching for the 125, 150, and possibly 250 versions to follow soon after the general release of the world's first 49cc supercharger.
Variable Valve Duration & Timing
While trying to jam more air into those small engine platforms, we also thought we'd help them breathe a little easier. We're currently working on a design that will allow us to increase the valve duration significantly at mid-high RPM ranges, yet let the engine remain smooth and tractable at lower idle speeds. And yes, we're going to have a cool acronym for ours too, just maybe not as cool as some of the Japanese OEMs (who we won't mention for fear of retaliation).
Ignition Control
Sounds like rocket science, doesn't it? Almost, but not quite. How does fully-programmable 2D and 3D ignition mapping sound though? Better yet - what if it was a plug-in replacement for basic ignition components with little to no additional wiring? This is something new we have under development, and is going to be a direct spinoff of the supercharger development program. And you thought only the Big Guys and Big Bikes could pull this off...
Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI)
The stuff of dreams, expensive bikes, and fast exotics. No way it'll work on smaller stuff - or will it? We're working with some bleeding edge fuel delivery R&D groups out there to develop a high performance, low cost solution that can bolt onto your bike or ATV as a direct replacement for your carburetor. Who loves ya...?
