Here it sits, in all its prototypical glory - the Weffo Performance SC50.1.  We have developed the world's first production aftermarket supercharger specifically designed for 49cc four-stroke single-cylinder engines, slated for release in the Spring of 2010.

As we test and learn more about the operating and performance characteristics, the design will change slightly as we increase performance, decrease weight, and generally rag it out to see what it can do.  At moderate boost levels using carburetor fuel delivery systems, we designed it to increase power by 50-70% over stock engines. 

There are some extreme cases out there where 10 psi of boost with the right tuning can generate up to 10 hp on pump gas from a 49cc engine.  Now we're talking.

Lucky for you we're not stopping at "moderate" and "carburetor" for our future product R&D.  Stay posted for more on those developments...
